Following difficulties encountered in the fight against malnutrition due to the abrupt withdrawal of some donors, we are pleased to re-establish contact with the NGO Action Against Hunger in the shared sectors of the Ampanihy district, from the northern to the southern coast.
This last sector is also affected and could benefit from our medical support, complementing their actions through on-the-ground convergence and their reporting. We await feedback to plan our cooperation during the last mission in November, before the cyclonic period experienced annually from November to March.
Meanwhile, Medicaéro will conclude the ophthalmological surgical campaign in October and November in the landlocked MELAKY region, located in the west of the island.
